Additionally, the owner of a new or pre-owned Maserati has the option to purchase the Extended Service Coverage for any further year past the standard new car limited warranty period. Eligible Maserati models are the ones with less than five years old and not exceeding 90,000 miles. The Maserati Certified Pre-Owned Certification is available only at Factory Authorized dealerships, such as Maserati Beverly Hills. Maserati North America covers its automobile fleet with a transferable four-year/50,000 miles new car limited warranty and Road Assistance on all new Maserati sold in the United States and Canada throughout the new car limited warranty period.

To Maserati, an engine has never been simply the beating heart of the car: it is also its soul. Each must not only deliver performance, but also look and sound as emotive and evocative as the car it powers. Maserati’s newest engine, the 4.7-litre V8 in the GranTurismo S and Quattroporte S is the most powerful engine yet fitted to a production Maserati road car, it delivers 440 hp and exceeds all the expectations in terms of sound, fury and performance. Such engine propels the GranTurismo S to a top speed of 183 mph, making the vehicle the fastest production Maserati to date. With its 0-62 mph acceleration set at 4.9 seconds, for the first time the parameter falls below the five seconds mark. Great performance is delivered at all engine speeds, from idle to 7,000 rpm. Flicking down from sixth gear to fourth, the engine seems to coil itself into a ball before the dynamic midrange catapults the vehicle to where it should be, out in front. Most thrilling of all is its sound. It starts with a burble and it rises to a distant thunder at every flick of the F1 style paddles, before eventually reaching a scalpel sharp howl as the red line approaches.
